Francesco Debellis is postdoctoral researcher at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano (Faculty of Economics and Management), working at the Centre for Family Business Management. After having worked as business consultant advising several Italian SMEs and start-ups, he got his PhD in Economics and Management at LUM Jean Monnet University (Italy) in 2017. He also earned research and teaching experience during long-term visiting scholarships at CIBUL (Centre for International Business at University of Leeds, UK) and WIFU (Witten Institute for Familienunternehmen, DE), and other shorter experiences in prestigious Universities (e.g. Henley Business School, Reading, UK). His research aims to bridge the literature on family business governance and internationalization, with a particular focus on the unique context of international joint ventures.
