Silvia Sanasi is an Assistant Professor in Strategy and Innovation at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano’s Faculty of Economics and Management. She joined the Centre for Family Business Management in 2022 as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. She holds a BSc in Architecture and Urban studies and a MSc in Management Engineering from Politecnico di Milano. She gained her PhD at Politecnico di Milano’s School of Management, where she is part of the extended faculty. In 2021, she was a visiting researcher at the Institute for Innovation Management and at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich. Her primary research interests involve strategizing in organizations under idiosyncratic conditions, such as during crises, while scaling, or experiencing temporal tensions.
