Ruth Überbacher is a PhD Candidate at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano (Faculty of Economics and Management), working at the Centre for Family Business Management. Previously, she was enrolled in the Master of Science in International Business with Major in Finance at Ashridge Executive Education and Hult International Business School in London. During her studies she made exchange experiences in the USA, Finland and Shanghai. She carries out research on Digitalization in Family Businesses and is currently working on her three dissertation projects based on three different data sets as well as three different methodological approaches. She attended several Conferences (e.g. AoM, IFERA) as well as Summer Schools (e.g. longitudinal data analysis at the University of Essex). In October 2019 she will start her research visit abroad at the Queensland University of Technology in Australia where she will work at the Australian Centre for Entrepreneurship Research.
